I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone involved with the creation of this site. We have lofty plans and a lot of work ahead of us, but we’re ready and looking forward to the challenge. This is a time of the year we not only count our blessings, but also look around us and realize that the people in our life is what makes it worth living.

This will be my first holiday season without my mom. She passed away last Summer and I miss her dearly. For the past several years she’d been sick and I cared for her at home. That was a challenge, also a blessing. While Find-Read-Discover is not a debating ground for religion, personally speaking I believe the soul continues, I’ve always believe that and that IS blessing when someone close to you passes.

Mom, I love and miss you, but I know that you are dancing among the stars in heaven.
